This was a completely random visit. I was in the area, picking up a couple of things and decided to swing by and see the new changes. It's a very comfortable and inviting space, to say the least. I was greeted by one of the workers outside, before I even walked through the door. The carrot cake is among the best that I've ever had and the employees are really sweet and pleasant to interact with.

First time visiting Iversen's Bakery. They were recommended to me by a coworker to make Paczki order. I've never had one before. Purchased a donut 🍩 when making my pre-order, and it was good. I will update the food review after Paczki order arrives. Service was great, Yadi was friendly and very helpful.

Iversen's has been a Blue Island staple for decades. It now has amazing coffee and a wonderful seating area. The atmosphere is great, the employees are caring and the bakery goods are fantastic.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Iverson’s Bakery in Blue Island is fantastic. They have an awesome selection of baked goods, and the staff is unbelievably friendly and welcoming. Everything is fresh, and the service always makes you want to come back. I highly recommend stopping in, you won’t be disappointed!

My siblings and I have made it a Friday morning tradition to gather at Iverson's, relax on the outdoor patio, and enjoy their excellent coffee and delicious selection of fresh pastries. It's the perfect way to start the weekend together. What truly makes the experience special is the wonderful staff. They are always friendly, welcoming, and consistently go out of their way to make every visit enjoyable. Their outstanding service, combined with the great food and inviting atmosphere, keeps us coming back every Friday. Thank you, Iverson's, for being such a special part of our weekly tradition!

Picked up some donuts, coffee cake, and paczkis today for Mardi Gras and everything was PHENOMENAL! The chocolate donuts were still warm and the chocolate was delicious, which is hard to find these days. We got the following paczkis: strawberry, strawberry and whipped cream (my personal fave), apple (a huge hit), Bavarian cream (and not too sweet which was great), and blueberry. There were other filling options available as well. They had a great set up by having the pre-order boxes organized alphabetically and set up on tables in the lobby of the Lyric Theater. Love this place! Thanks for making popular with my coworkers.

My husband discovered this place after the remodel, and we’ve been coming back ever since. Each visit feels a little different in the best way. In the warmer months, we stop by for ice cream and enjoy the enclosed outdoor seating, which is beautifully decorated with lights and thoughtful details. In the winter, it’s our go-to spot for pastries and coffee ☕️. We’ve even ordered a birthday cake from here, so I’ll have more to update soon.

I recently visited Iversen's Bakery in Blue Island for like the 100th time and it's time I speak about the consistent outstanding service. Joselin made an amazing cannoli and Hailey a delicious cold brew that were both fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with love. Everything here is one of a kind I promise you. What truly sets Iversen's apart is the atmosphere. The bakery has a relaxing, old-fashioned charm that feels like stepping back into the 1950s, when the business first opened. The nostalgic setting, combined with the smell of fresh baked goods and friendly service, creates a welcoming experience that's hard to find today. Iversen's has been a Blue Island tradition since 1959, and it's easy to see why it remains a local favorite. Whether you're stopping in for coffee, pastries, or simply to enjoy the historic ambiance, it's a place worth visiting. Thank you to the entire team for always making the visits especially memorable!
